Jerry Falwell
Jerry Falwell is the pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virgina. Falwell founded both the Lynchburg Christian Academy and Liberty University. In 1979, Falwell launched his "Moral Majority" organization.
Jerry Falwell has been an outspoken opponent of equality of GLBT Americans and a leading source of misinformation regarding homosexual persons.
Recently, however, Falwell seems to have had a change of heart concerning equality for GLBT people in the areas of employment and housing.
